August 30, 2005: Eating continues to be an exhausting
activity. If given time, the pups fall asleep after eating, making sure
they remain close to the bowls, they just never know when it will be feeding
time again!

August 31, 2005: We've given the puppies beef and lamb
bones a couple of times. They quickly devour all the meat on the bones,
and some of them even fall asleep with their heads on "their" bones.

September 5, 2005: I've got to ask for some flexibility
today. Technically, today is the start of week 7. But, the local
agility club that Linda and I are members of sponsored an agility trial this
past Saturday and Sunday. I'm the equipment manager, so Saturday and
Sunday were very busy, leaving early and getting back late. Our portion
of the Twin Cities received over 4 inches of rain Saturday night and Sunday
morning. The trial was to begin at 8:00am, we were not able to run the
first dog until after 11:00am. But, agility people are dedicated (or
should I say a bit odd), most sat through the rain and waited, and then
literally splashed through
their runs. By the time we completed the runs, rinsed off the equipment,
loaded the trailer and drove it back to the storage area, it was after 8:30pm.
And, the trial site was less than 10 minutes from where we live. Long
day. So, I'd like to take some literary license and call today's photos
Week Six! (By the way, Kona received Q's in Elite Tunnelers, Open
Weavers, Open Standard and Open Gamblers, not the best weekend, but it's been
a long time since I've had any time to work with him.) Meg and Snicker
stayed home with Linda taking care of the pups. Week Six Formals are
also ready for viewing (also photographed today). ENJOY the new PHOTOs.
